37 Jobs I sucked at before I was in Porn

  1. I really enjoyed reading this post. Probably because I’ve been living the same kind of life, not getting fired though but instead quitting. I’ve had at least as many jobs as you have. Can’t remember them all if I tried, and wouldn’t even want to. And, like you, I’ve quit jobs because they wanted me in at 7 A.M, or passed on jobs that had occasional start times of 4 A.M. There’s regret that comes with what appears to be the fucking up of a life so badly, but it’s not due to guilt over having disappointed so many people willing to give me opportunities. It’s the feelings of disappointing myself. I can’t help but feel that I should BE SOMEWHERE

  2. Oops. I accidentally hit Tab, then Enter and submitted the comment before I was through. So I’ll just wrap it up this way: I’m having a similar life experience to yours, in just about every way mentioned above, and now I have a tiny sense of hope that I may yet find my way as you found yours, though the path is rough, tough, and sometimes a pain in the ass (literally).

  3. Can’t thank you enough for writing this! I enjoyed it a great deal. And yes, I get the feeling it hasn’t been easy to be you, But I’m not sure a person can be a good writer without having experienced a fair amount of pain and torment. And you are a good writer. Looks like you are doing a good job of trying to put things into context.–Take care and be well. –Dr. Paul

  4. This was entertaining and inspired sympathy- blogs like this one, and ChristianXXX’s back when he was a daily poster are a real eye-opener to regular shmucks. Back when I owned a fishing boat, one of my deckhands used to room with T.T. Boy, until my guy went to rehab, anyhow. His stories got me thinking how my generation, who grew up knowing the names of the early 90’s porn stars on, never even saw the people behind the acting. I’m older now, and porn doesn’t consume the time or space in my head it once did, but it seems like there’s damn few happy endings, so to speak, in the arc of a porn career. I hope your company continues to prosper.

  5. Thank you thank you thank you for this!

I also was living the life above. I have been unemployable, I know how it feels (and how it sucks) and it feels SO great to have someone who has been through the same thing to casually list such a long line of failed jobs and have now found their fit. 5 and 6 made me properly laugh!

Anyways, I’m webcamming at Adult Work right now and I’ve never earned so much for doing something in the most part I really enjoy. Thank you for making me feel there are others like me out there! :)

  6. Thank you for this text.
I googled your name after watching some of your videos on xhamster to find out more about how you became what you are now,
    You should write a biography.
